Hi,
I have two monitors for my PC, they are connected via Displayport. One is 1440P 144Hz, the other 1440P 60Hz.

I wanted to connect my TV which is located in the same room, I used an old 15m (50ft) HDMI cable. The tv is running at 4K 60Hz. Most of the time it works fine, it's just that when turning the TV on there are sometimes some artifacts or even a green tint to the whole image if I recall correctly. If it doesn't disappear on its own after a while, I can just remove the HDMI from the GPU and put it back in and it's fine.

In Windows it works as it should I can browse the internet and watch videos etc, at 4K 60 no problem while the other monitors are also running, I'm using the "extend these displays" option and not duplicating or anything.

I wanted to play some games on my TV with a controller and that's when I ran into problems, some games would crash instantly on startup and the whole TV blinks a few times with a green image, other games start up with my previous resolution settings of 1440P and when I go to change it to 4K 60Hz the image goes green again and the game crashes with an error message.

I though at this point that maybe my old HDMI cable can't handle it. I also checked my 2070 Super GPU specs and it says that the HDMI port is 2.0b. Not sure about the TV, can't find info on that.

But before buying a new cable (I heard a fiber optic HDMI cable should be good for longer distances) I wanted to try something else, so I removed my other two monitors from the GPU and suddenly I can start games on the tv without any problems. Sure I did get a quick green screen flash by when I changed to 4K resolution in a game but it still worked. All of the games I tried worked.

So why do you think I can't start games when the other monitors are plugged in, but everything works well outside of any games?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

List of all connected peripherals.

Wired or wireless network?

I just saw that Windows defaulted to 59Hz on the TV, the games want 60Hz. I changed it to 60Hz in Windows and so far I haven't seen any green screens. The games I've tried works well in 4K with all monitors connected at the same time.
