Games crashing for no apparent reason

For almost a week now I've been experiencing a really annoying bug with some games. After playing for 15-30 minutes of certain games, the game sudently crashes and freezes the screen and after that I can't do anything because I can't close the game (or minimize it) and can't access the taks manager. The only sollution is to do a hard reset. Does anyone have an idea of what might be happening?

CS:GO
Battlefield 3
Battlefield 4

check your cpu/ gpu temps. could be overheating causing issue. get a temp montor app.

start a game play for like 10 mins and then look at what your temps are. post results here if you can. what they are at idle (computer running for 10mins with no programs running) then under game conditions

Maxwellmelon and Gman450, overheating is not the problem, my GPU and CPU hardly go over 55-60 deegrees celcius. I also tried to update some drivers with no results.

If temps aren't the problem then it could be due to some malware or something, that may be stopping the game from running.
You could try using malwarebytes to scan your PC (do it in safe mode).
Also, do a full scan (takes longer, but worth it), not a quick scan.

No malware was detected... Did a full scan with no results, games are still crashing...
