Hi I have been finding that when I game my whole system crashes. I have fresh install of windows and drivers. I also have undone my overclocks and still have the same problem.
I thought it was either my gpu or power supply, I sent my gpu back to evga and they sent me a new one but i have the same problem. So now I am thinking its my psu.
I monitored a crash with cupidhwmonitor and the 12 v rail was minimum 12.032v and max 12.224v, although this time it only crashed to desktop when usually it hangs the whole system.

I am running i7960 bloomfield normally ocd to 3.7ghz, but happens not ocd. flaming gti motherboard with 6gb hyper x ram and evga gtx 770sc
The power supply is a OCZ ZS series 650 watt.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Well, the fact that I can't find OCZ PSU's on any reputable sites like Scan or Overclockers, I'd go ahead and say it's probably the PSU. they don't have good reviews or say where the components are from. Keep in mind the minimum suggest psu for the gtx 770 is 600w. I'd say your PSU is being stressed too much and can't handle the load. I'd recommend getting a 700w -750w PSU depending on the quality and from a trusted brand. I recommend EVGA PSU's.

The OCZ power supplies are now under the FirePower Technology label , the ZS and ZT series are usually very good power supplies.

Run HWINFO to check your PSU voltages.

Click sensors tab in the GUI.

The OCZ ZS Series 650 W proved to be an outstanding mainstream power supply. It can really deliver its labeled wattage at high temperatures, and we could pull up to 780 W. Voltages are closer to their nominal values than required (3% voltage regulation), noise and ripple levels are low, and it provides terrific efficiency for the market to which it is targeted, between 84% and 86% when we pulled between 20% and 80% of the unit’s labeled power (i.e., between 130 W and 520 W), and 82% at full load (650 W). Remember that several power supplies with 80 Plus Bronze certification we’ve tested weren’t capable of sustaining 82% efficiency at high temperatures. Another highlight of this unit is the presence of eight SATA power connectors.

The negative points of this power supply are the short distance between SATA and peripheral power cables, the absence of a floppy disk drive power connector (who needs that, anyway?), and pricing. At USD 90, we can’t say it is cheap. However, if you live in the US, you can get a USD 20 mail-in rebate, helping to soften the blow.

In summary, it is an excellent unit, and we recommend it.

Thanks for your replys. I have been running this system for 4 years, and have had the gtx 770 i think 2 years, so it has done a lot of miles. But I am also thinking cooling may be a issue as the card gets really hot. Thinking about getting some new and extra case fans.....
Sorry how do I monitor voltages in HWINFO what should i look for?

Many thanks

Ok so the problem has now developed where i cant loads windows, the system posts then i get the loading screen and windows 10 icon for about 5 seconds then the screen goes black.

I bought another psu because i was sure it was this, but i have the same problem. There is a red yellow and blue led on the motherboard? its a foxcon flamming gti but i cant seem to find out what that means. Also theres a debug code off FF. So I am thinking my motherboard is ruined? What do you guys think? Thanks

Just to update i was not my ssd it was my Gpu. Thats 3 Evga gtx 770 2gb sc that died on me has put me off evga but I think I was unlucky. the 770 must have had defects...
