Games crashing windows 10

Hey guys and gals

Today I upgraded my computer from fx6300 to a i3 8100 on a z270 a pro board and 8gb 2400mhz ram. I thought all was gonna be well and couldn’t wait to boot up some rainbow six siege and pubg. After drivers of course.

Long story short, R6s and pubg both crash to desktop shortly after booting up, while world of tanks and world of warships play perfectly fine. Is this a memory issue or a error on windows 10 end?

Did you reinstall Win10? Usually, if you try to upgrade the hardware like a motherboard and CPU, the old OS on the old HDD will either refuse to boot at all, or will boot into the OS but give you all sorts of problems.

Generally, it's just easier to assume it won't work and do a clean install of the OS onto the old SSD.HDD.
