Hey,
So I had been playing games and they worked fine and then all of a sudden the games didnt fit the screen anymore. I dindt cahnge the settings or anything and the in game and out of game resolutions match. Its causing problems with playing them so Id really love if someone knew how to fix this?
Thanks

Are you using HDMI, in my experience some games just don't like HDMI resolutions with under/overscan at times. I recently started playing LA noire again and my screen was being underscaned until i switched my HDMI to DVI

um i have no idea. its a laptop..

where do i find the upscaling thing? i cant find it. probably looking in the wrong place.

sorry i cant be more specific as laptops tend to have there own software panels for gfx. if its an intel gfx it will likely be listed as intel igp or Graphics and Media Control Panel something like that... but like i say it should be in the control panel menu... (make sure you view as small icons as this will display the entire contents not just the basics of category view(top right of the control panel))

Right click on your desktop and you should have nvidia control panel option, somewhere in there just have a look around through the options see if u can find anything for scaling. Can't be much more help in specfics as its been years since ive used the nvidia control panel

so im in that control panel thing, what does the scaling do? theres a scale thing for quality vs performance and for video image settings

Thats something separate and not what u want.

Go into this screen and see if there is an option for scaling

awkward.. mine doesnt look like that. theres no display setting part on the left. just the other 2
