So about 1 month after i got a 1060 6gb i started to freeze in games about every hour. It wouldn't let me close the window or anything, the only thing i could do was click the windows key. Every time i freeze i have to restart my pc just to close the game (alt + f4 does not work) Its been going on for 2 months now and i have no idea how to stop it. Here are my pc parts.

ram: gskill 16gb ddr3 1600mhz
psu: evga 450w bronze
cpu: amd fx-6300 6 core
motherboard: gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P
cpu cooler: amd wraith max
