[SOLVED] Games get ping spikes and fps drops

Hi! My games keep on getting ping spikes and fps drops randomly in games, and I've tried with both Ethernet and WiFi and I cannot find the issue. All I can see is that the latency in game will spike and my fps will drop and makes the game unplayable for about a second. I've attached a video so it is evident what is occurring. Any help as to diagnosing this issue or what steps to take to isolate what the problem is would be greatly appreciated!

Note: This problem happens on all of my games, like Apex Legends and CS:GO, but Overwatch was the game I chose to record for. It also seems to occur when I'm using my computer normally, like sometimes it will lag for a bit in the same was as the video but just on a web page. It also occurred when typing this post/

The spikes and fps drops happen at the 0:10 and 1:10 timestamps

You getting ping spikes on type?
doesn't sound like it ping splike

full system spec? include make and model of the psu
cpu/gpu temp and usage?
ram/ssd/hdd usage?
malware scan the system?

Yeah, if it's happening on typing, that's not a ping spike--it's a system issue.

Do you get the typing issue if you boot a linux live cd?
