I'm running games on low and the 150 fps I typically get lend me to believe specs aren't the issue??

Specs:

Intel i7-6700k cpu 4.00 ghz
16 gb ram
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

Idk what else I need to post

EDIT:
After capping frames at 120 it fixed it for a bit but by the end of the match the problem came back 🙁

1x16gb i think how would i check? They are SSD
You can check by looking at Memory on the Performance tab of Task Manager. It will say slots used and 1 of 4, 2 of 4 or something else. If only running a single stick you will suffer hitching and stuttering in some games. This is because the RAM can only run in single channel which is half the bandwidth of dual channel (2x8gb).

It says 2 of 4
After capping frames at 120 it seems to be running better as of rn. Why would that fix it?

Just a note before reply: this might not work but it might help a little bit.
I think the problem you are experiencing is called lag spikes if I'm not wrong.
Have you tried searching upon your browser engine on how to stop lag spikes?
Maybe some tips will help you.
