I play Cs:Go, a lot, its pretty much the only game I play. I have an Intel i7-5930K Clocked at 3.50GHz but for some reason it is very unstable while playing the game causing fps lag witch in game is very bad. The cooling is fine the temp doesnt go above unsafe levels and I have no idea what the problem could be. I would be extremely thankful for any help!
If I need to provide any more info let me know!
GPU- GTX 970
CPU-i7-5930K
RAM- 32 gb corsair V
MOBO: Asus X99 pro
Os: windows 10( Booting off of SSD)
Games are also on SSD
PS: Corsair i750 Power source

I'll start with the basics,

-Are your GeForce Drivers up to date?
-Make sure your display is connected to the slot from the GPU, not the one from the motherboard.
-Check your Nvidia settings and verify that PhysX are handled by the GPU and not the I7's integrated graphics.
-Run an Anti-Malware/Spyware program to get rid of anything that could slow your system down.

Since your CPU usage is what you see spiking up when you throw a flashbang, it really sounds like either a driver or display settings issue. This sort of actions should be handled by the GPU, except maybe for the sound.

All of the Drivers are up to date and their is no spyware or viruses. Maybe it could be that the physx is being handled by the cpu. I will let you know the results of that

It's CS:GO and a GTX970 coupled with an I7-5930k we're talking about. This isn't a graphically heavy game. The recommended specs from Valve are a Pentium E5700 @ 3Ghz and a GT630/HD6670. Those are ridiculously underpowered compared to what he has.

If anything, he should make sure that his resolution is as high as possible for his display, because the GTX970 drivers are optimized for 1080p+.

Let's wait for his answer concerning his settings, but it's most definitely not a question of his PC not being able to handle that game.
