Games keep crashing

I have a gtx1080ti which isnt oc in any way and sometimes my games crash. The card itself never shuts off and my temps are at 30-40c. Ive used another card a gtx 1080 and the games arent crashing is it safe to assume the card is faulty?

What are your system specs and in particularly your PSU? Also have you tried a CLEAN install of your display drivers?

I have a 1000 watt corsair psu, i have reformatted all drives clean installed windows, drivers are u0 to date, and a brand new 1080 i bought just for troubleshooting never fails
