Every game I have tested on my recently built system crashes; either soon after loading or after about 15ish minutes. My display drivers do not crash and no artifcating is seen, the games will just close or their respective crash reporters will come up. On saturday the games all worked fine but now nothing is playable. At first I thought it was my GPU causing issues but I later found my ram wasn't in the supported list of my motherboard, is this what is creating the issue or is there more to it? What else could be causing this?

Ryzen 1700 stock
XFX RX 580 GTS XXX 8gb stock
Asrock B450m Pro4-F
Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 3000 MHz

Update to this,

After that if you don't have bios 1.50 update to it.
ASRock > B450M Pro4-F
don't use bios 1.60 with your current cpu. Think with adaptations made for Ryzen 3xxx it doesn't go well with older cpu's, they don't recommend using this bios with older cpu's.

For ram DOHC is enabled? If more profiles use 1 first. Need to look into the bios. Also see if setting ram to 2933mhz wil help, a frequency more supported by the Ryzen cpu's (at least 1st gen).

Thank you for the reply. My BIOS seems to be 1.60 and came this way out of the box. I will try and use the 1.50 BIOS. How would I go about installing the two files you linked?

My RAM in the BIOS is set to 2667mhz at the moment and shows on memtest64 as that speed but on CPUZ and Ryzen Master the speed is shown as 2133mhz. I have XMP enabled (I think).

For 1.60 bios best try Asrock support to see what impact it has with the Ryzen 1700,but if you can flash to 1.50 would i try that.

Your ram should be able to run at 3000mhz so is set under what it can do with 2667mhz. Might hav eto do with that bios or maybe support for your ram. Would look into this after bios flash (if possible)

You should be able to unpack the drivers and use installer for the latest AMD chipset drivers in that zip file, but can also look here,
X370 Drivers & Support | AMD
these should be really latest, can't guarantee that Asrock didn't make some modifications to their package.

I sent a message to Asrock support about the BIOS potentially causing issues. So for the allin1 I just unpack and use the installer? Would it be safe to use it or should I wait for Asrock's response.

You can wait for responce by Asrock, but if you need to flash bios to 1.50 you probably need latest drivers as well. It's really up to you. latest drivers usually mean better so can't hurt to update.

yes unpack and use installer.
