The only game where this is recurring is in CSGO. Whenever I play using the Faceit AC AND Play on their servers my game will freeze about half way through the match. I've also had For The king have a similar freeze, and once SCP:CP Multiplayer froze similarly but this only occurred when I unplugged and replugged my elgato, which is external.
Interestingly when csgo freezes it also won't close, it takes about 2-3mins after force closing in task manager. After it freezes once I then can't get the game to launch properly, it launches into a black screen where only the main menu net_graph is visible.
I have so far:
Reset windows (after reset I have just recently disabled fast startup in windows which was casuing a weird blank screen boot which took a while. idk if this will fix it but I can't really replicate the issue)
Rolled back & Updated to recent video drivers (crashes on both)
