games lag really bad

Hello everyone, whenever i turn my pc off for the night and go back on it the next day and try to play games, it lags really bad, sometimes restarting the pc works but sometimes it doesn't, I've installed the driver when it doesn't work and that usually fixes it but i still doesn't understand why it does this, can some please help? Thank you

Check for a virus. Do a FULL scan.
