Question Games not performing up to spec ?

So, I was playing valorant on my gaming laptop, and the frames sometimes were dropping low 50s and even 40s. I play on lowest settings, play on a extenal monitor and external ssd, and my specs are a ryzen 7 3750H with Radeon Vega moblie gfx, and my graphics card is a gtx 1050 ti. 8 gigs of ram and I play plugged in. Any help is nice!

Have you checked temps?
You can check them with this.
Many times.....with laptops...it can be temps causing the issue.

Well....first see if you have a problem.
In general....I like the CPU below about 80C and the GPU below about 85C (there can be exceptions).
Maybe the fan/ductwork needs to be blown out.

Ok so, i have checked my cpu and gpu temps and heres what I have (I made sure I had no major tasks running). My cpu when just browsing, sticks around 65 C ish, and at max it is 85 C. Gpu runs at around 56 C and at max 60 C. Running valorant in the firing range, I was getting 210 fps when looking at the sky, and just running around I was averaging 190 - 90. my cpu average 91 C and maxed at 95.4 C. My gpu averaged around 68 C and maxed at 74 C. Could these temps be a problem?
