Games not working on GTX 1080 (DirectX12)

GTA V and BeamNG.Drive keep giving me "Could not initiate a valid DX10/11 device." I am lost at this point and I don't know why it doesn't work, DirectX12 is backwards compatible yet here I am with no answers at all. Please help. I also cannot download DirectX11 as my GPU is DirectX12 so...very frustrated at my GPU and the game developers right now. I have seen others use the game with the GTX 1080, why does theirs work and mine not? Some other games I have tested have worked but so far these two have not.

yes, you can download directx 11.

Reinstall the games, they need to install their own versions of DX that they need.

I figured everything out, just had to reinstall drivers. Thanks though,
