Games running at 1-5 fps

I have recently built PC:
i7 8700k
1080ti

I cannot install the drivers from the disk because I don't have an optical drive. I downloaded latest drivers from geforce experience.

Games still at low fps.

Dunno what to do, if anyone could help us I'd appreciate that so much. I've been tearing my hair out for the last couple of days.

You haven't plugged your monitor into the onboard graphics have you? Alot of people do this by mistake. What PSU are you using and are all the powers connectors inserted firmly into the 1080ti.

Forgive my ignorance but assuming I had plugged my monitor into onboard graphics, what would it look like?
The PSU is cosair hx 850i
Teak both 8 pin cables firmly connected

If the monitor is plugged into the motherboard I/O, it's connected to the integrated or on-board graphics. You want to connect it to the actual graphics card.

Yeah, you'll want to change that. Connect it to the graphics card. You may need to take out a plastic tab on the graphics card in order to expose the connector.
