Question Games running slow after Power failure (Improper shutdown)

I recently had a power failure and my PC shut down improperly. Since then the games are running slow even when the GPU is fully functional and not displaying any problems.

The specs are:

GPU: AMD RX 470 4GB
Core i5 4th Gen processor
8GB RAM
500W Power supply (Antec)

What could be the issue? Everything seems to be working fine but there is jitter and lag during game. I play Dota 2.

Have you checked your (C:\) system drive for any filesystem faults. Are you using a mechanical drive?
