games running slow

Hey Guys

My computer:
i7 3770 CPU @ 3.40 GHz
16GB RAM
windows 8 64-bit
geforce gt 630

my graphics drivers up to date, good power supply and I can not play dead island at lowest settings with major lag and my FPS dropping to 4fps when I move the mouse let alone try to play! has anyone got any suggestions I've tried everything i know!!! help!!!

you have gpu bottleneck.3770 is a beast of a cpu you must pair it with some better gpu.if you do make sure your psu is up to the task

Do you have any idea what sort of gpu i would need then with my cpu to play games like dead island? I have around £150-£250 to spend on a graphics card..

dead island is not a taxing game, but with the upgrade you ll be able to play battlefield 4 crysis3 far cry 3..

Assuming that your PSU is up to the task, go for the GTX 760

As already mentioned the GT 630 is what's holding you back, it's an entry level card which isn't really ideal for gaming nowadays

defenately worth buing and you wont have bottleneck anymore.

remember check your psu you need at least a descent 450w one
