Hi guys; I've just bought a new vga card (Msi GTX 960 2 GB OC), my system is as follows:

CPU: Core 2 Quad q6600 2.4 ghz
MB: Gigabyte G41MT-Spt PCI Express 2.0 (ancient MB, I Know)
HDD: 500 gb + 1 TB both are green ( the 1 TB had several bad sectors and gave me several errors) ( Windows 7 Home Basic 64 bit is installed on the 500 gb HDD)
RAM: 8 GB DDR3

my problem is new games as PES 2016 and fifa 15 get slow while playing and there aren't any other applications in the background I want to know what is slowing my system is it the 1 TB HDD? or is it the processor, and if a SSD hard disk will solve my problem or not ( as windows index says that my Data transfer rate is slow and has a rating of 5.8), thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply, I've checked my CPU usage and it's around 70~75%

I've checked once more and it reached 80~90%

yes I entered the site and read the explanation but I don't think this is the solution, as I monitored the performance of the CPU while the game is running and it records 92 and 97 % is used, so i guess its my processor, or do you have any other suggestion???

Please clarify your question. Do the games you're playing start out OK and then start lagging after you have played them for a awhile? Or are they not playable from the start? If they start to lag after playing awhile, I would check the temps as I suggested to see if the CPU or GPU are getting hot and throttling. Your CPU usage will go up if it begins to throttle. The processor is the minimum required for FIFA, but if you've been playing it with a different graphics before, this shouldn't be the problem. Also, if you haven't updated the graphics driver, this can have an effect, too.

the games start well and then after a while ( about 2-5 mins of play time) get slow, and then I press Alt+Tab to open task manager and check my performance and then i found the cpu reaches 100% or 97% then go back again to the 70s%
