Hello everyone, I've recently installed an AIO cooler on my Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and as it seems some games perform worse than before having this AIO installed. For example, Mafia DE started stuttering and I'm having FPS drops when playing from time to time (60FPS constant most of the time, then drops to 38-44FPS). I'm also having lower FPS in CS:GO than before (sometimes they drop to under 300 which never happened before, also having "var" spikes in CS:GO). Other games I tried perform the same. Could this happen because one of my fans that is installed on the radiator (top mount) is putting some pressure on the RAM? I don't think it's a very high pressure but still. My whole build is:
  • Gigabyte B450 Gaming X (updated to the last BIOS version, F51)
  • Ryzen 5 3600 @ 4.2GHz (manual OC, 1.25V)
  • MSI Ventus XS OC GTX1660 super
  • 16GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance LPX @ 3200MHz (dual channel, XMP enabled)
  • ID Cooling Auraflow X240 AIO
Benchmark scores are still the same as before mounting the AIO. There is no CPU or GPU throttling (temps are very good). Both games are installed on a M.2 Kingston A2000 SSD.
Thanks!
