Hi there, after troubleshooting my computer for months I found out that my SSD was the thing that was giving me problems. I constantly got stuttering in all games.
I took out my PNY XLR8 and installed the OS on my HDD and all is well, everything works PERFECT. I return the XLR8 and purchase a Crucial MX100 to replace it and put my OS back on it. This one has the same issue. I think that it's a software or setting issue, I don't know what though.
These are the things I've tried:
The SATA controllers are set to ACHI
When I click on my SSD in BIOS it's set to a SSD, not an HDD
TRIM on and off
I've tried different SATA ports
I've tried different SATA cables
I'm using a 6 gb/s sata cable
I've Disabled Link Power Management
I turned off WIndows Write-cache buffer flushing
Windows is set to High Performance
Disabled pagefile
