lately my games have been stuttering a lot, especially The Division. i updated the drivers for 2,3 months with windows 10 for GTX 970.
can anyone tell me why are the games stuttering ?

Solution
Try this then.
1.Open Powershell in admin
2. type/copy this "Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxApp | Remove-AppxPackage"
3. Restart and see if it still appear

i have noticed myself that the xbox app reduce performance.

Update
if that dose not do the trick download THIS and run it. it will change reg keys when it comes to something called DVR

no, the C drive still has 31 GB free space.
i haven't checked the temps, but i think the RAM is working fine; its the driver thats causing the problem

i'll try that.
coming to the GPU temp,
the min temp was 43 degree Celsius & the Max temp was 73-77 degree Celsius, while i was gaming The Division

Temps are ok. See if teh stuff in that video helps any.

yeah, i applied the fix from the video. it has only lowered the stuttering frequency but the problem still persists.
i googled the problem & asked some players. they all are saying that its the game itself that's causing the problems.
i forgot to tell u one thing, the problem only occurs when i play the Dark Zone Multiplayer. In single player, the game works fine

You should have mentioned this from teh start. It's defionitely not the drivers. It's a CPU limit. Either it's not capable and/or teh game is poorly optimized or your CPU is thermal throtteling.
Monitor your temps with Hwmonitor.
What is your CPU, btw?

today, for the 1st time, the same problem occured when i was playing GTA V Online, after playing for 1.5 hours.

Same story. GTA V is also CPU intensive.

so what exactly is the problem ?
is it the hardware thats causing the problem or a software problem ?

still the same problem.
i think i should revert back to Windows 7.
'coz ever since i installed the Anniversary update, the frequency of this stuttering has risen to its peak.
besides, windows 7 never gave me any problem like this

Don't do that. W10 is a far superior OS. We'll get tothe bottom of this. there were some otehr thinhgs stated in my prev post.
