Just throwing this out there in case you haven't played it, but League of Legends is the most popular game in the world for several years straight. It's the only game I've continued to play for so long. It has constant updates and new features and new content.

have you tried call of duty ww2 ? it's pretty entertaining . it's like sims with guns . it's hard laugh from start to end .

Just throwing this out there in case you haven't played it, but League of Legends is the most popular game in the world for several years straight. It's the only game I've continued to play for so long. It has constant updates and new features and new content.

seeing from reviews league isnt exclty f2p all the way tho

Well I like currently these online games but not all of them are free (not all RPG):
WoW, LoL, Overwatch, Warframe, Rocket League, PUBG, Fortnite

Just throwing this out there in case you haven't played it, but League of Legends is the most popular game in the world for several years straight. It's the only game I've continued to play for so long. It has constant updates and new features and new content.

It is f2p all the way. The only thing you can buy is cosmetic items and other non-game hindering things. And here's the thing, you can earn free cosmetics via special missions and through getting an s rank with a champion (one free chest, per champion, per season; chests have random loot).

Now, if you don't mind some MMOs... Tera: Rising and Dream of Mirror Online are great. However, my 2200+ hours into FFXIV says that pay to play MMOs are second to none. OH! Wait. FFXI (XIV's older cousin) is free to play now. Try that.

For other MOBAs there's Smite, Fortnite, Heroes of the Storm, and Paladins (which is similar to Overwatch and TF2 (which is also free)).

League of Legends is free to play, but you can pay to have your champion look different or pay to own a champion quicker instead of playing and earning a champion.

The only thing I've found worth buying in League is the extra rune pages so I can play a larger number of champions with specific buffs without having to change them in between each match. But again, none of this is required to play or win.

I don't even know how it works anymore :/ I have like 19,498 Blue Essence that Riot gave me when they changed the system.

But I do know you can earn rewards when you or a team mate does really well in a match and that stuff will add up and can be turned in to actual stuff.

I already have a lot of champions that I don't play, some I play a lot. I just started playing ranked last season and that is really the addicting part, trying to rank up.

What happened: Blue essence has basically replaced IP.
How it works: it's more like they got rid of blue essence and used IP for crafting instead - then called it blue essence. You get Blue essence after each match; less for a loss and more for a win. It's fairly straight forward once you use it.

No offence, but I don't believe you. Especially since I do get blue essence after every game. Or do you only fight bots? That would be a reason you don't get blue essence.

I stand corrected. I was wrong. Sorry, I deserve that sarcasm.
you get 50 blue essence per "first win of the day" mission and from capsules. Losing does not grant you blue essence.

I play ranked and I did lose both matches. I guess I just didn't notice getting it when I win.

wait how do we get the money working then?

I suppose you get some when you win at least one match in a day and sometimes when you open all your loot that you can get after matches. Some matches you don't get anything.
