Question games where running fine now getting stuttering

hello my specs are laptop specs are

CPU: i5 7300HQ
RAM: 8GB DDR4
GPU: GTX 1050TI

ive been playing rust for a couple of days now with it running perfectly at 60 fps at high settings however i have opened it up today to still be getting 50-60 fps but with stuttering this has happened before so i set my laptop back to factory settings and it fixed it but it has come back. I am running it off an SSD

If running Google Chrome as your browser have you gone into settings and turned off use hardware acceleration and there cough cough run in the background services. Seems off base to think about your browser and games stuttering but just watch MSI Afterburner NOT Gaming and watch your GPU Max out. Also look at your Task Manager and see what a Hog Google Chrome puts on your system. Firefox has there taxing as well. Give it a try might surprise you. Fixed my stutter issue. Happy Gaming

didn't seem to work. I have checked my CPU and RAM usage and both seem fine when i have the game running still getting the stutters and the audio stutters though.
