Hi, I recently built a pc and I've noticed that games will crash after only playing them for a few minutes. There are days where it doesn't and there are days where it will continuously crash. Every part in my pc is new, the only thing I kept was the HDD.

My Specs:

GPU: RX 580
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
RAM: 2x8 (16gb)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H
Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80 PLUS
Case: Thermaltake S100 MicroATX Mini Tower

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, undervolting gpu, flipping the switch that was on my gpu, and updating windows 10. I don't know if it's my gpu, cpu, os, or maybe something else that's causing the problem. Please help, I feel like I wasted money on a pc that doesn't even do what it was built to do.

Solution
My first thought is the PSU.

Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer for error codes and warnings that correspond with the crashes.

Do you see any consistent errors or patterns of errors?

Power down, unplug, open the case.

Clean out dust and debris.

Use sight and feel to double check that all cables, cards, RAM, and jumpers are fully and firmly in place.
