Where the hell is Morrowind? It's far better than Fable at the very
least (and probably my favorite Xbox game of all outside of perhaps the
KOTORs).

I want to know why they added Lego Star Wars to the list.

Anything to enhance that Star Wars hype bs.

I agree wholeheartedly. Also, where the hell is Ghost Recon? But this list
and the countless ravings of posters such as Booty has convinced me to pick
up Burnout 3. It is only 13.99 at Best Buy.

Yes, get Burnout 3. I picked it up last week when I saw it made Platinum Hit
status. It's excellent.

Morrowind is too dense for the average player to sit down and enjoy.
It's an amazing game and deserves to be there, but the difficulty is
going to kick people out of it.

For that same reason I'd remove Ninja Gaiden from the list.

Lego Star Wars is supposed to be a surprisingly good game. I played a
few minutes of it and was pretty well impressed. It's a good
combination of... well... Star Wars and Legos. :^)

Average score 81%

Despite how cool I thought the concept behind LEGO Star Wars: The Video
Game might have been, I never figured that the finished product would
hold up as well as it has. In fact, I'm ashamed to admit that I'd
almost written it off as the next Haven or Chaos Legion -- or to put it
more specifically, one of those kinds of titles that came across great
on paper, but not in real life. Then I played it (and played it, and
played it some more) and before long I'd realized just how big of a
mistake I almost made. LEGO Star Wars was surprisingly good.

Truth be told LEGO Star Wars is probably one of the best children's
titles on the market today. Though it almost certainly isn't well
suited for anyone under the age of six, its combination of puzzles,
action, and Star Wars mythology is a heck of a lot of fun. And in a
twist that's unlike most other family-oriented games out there, it's
just as amusing for adults as it is for kids.

(Hey Ron, you might want to see if your kid likes this one...)

True. From what I've seen of it, I'm staying away. And this is coming
from somebody who likes Star Wars a lot (especially KOTOR and the
Wizard's of the Coast pen n' paper RPG).

I don't consider Morrowind all that difficult once you put 6-7 hours
in. Even at 100 Difficulty, combat got boring after a while. I'd say
Morrowind has long travel times and is fairly easy to get distracted
in, which I guess some people hate, but I love open games.

It is a really good game, fairly simplistic for us older gamers. Still fun
to go through one time though. Friend of mine bought it for his kids and I
was really impressed at how good it actually is. The co-op aspect is very
well done. For a kids game it is one of the best I have seen so far...

BO3 is AWESOME!!! I picked it up not too long ago, one of those I
missed/didn't have time for when it came out. Friend of mine had it and I
played it a little a few times and really liked it then, just had too many
other games that were sitting there needing to be played to give it a go
then. I am still playing it now, getting golds, etc.. in various events.
Best of the BO games, and made me stop playing GT4.

Lego Star Wars is a great co-op game to play with a person in your life
who isn't a great gamer but loves to play games. Its playability with a
significant other or a kid might push it onto the list; and it is a
pretty good simple game that's easy to play through but that has
benefits for replaying levels well.

The game had tons of hype from people in the newsgroups. Maybe not the right
people eh?!? LOL. It is a MUST buy now that it is on Greatest Hits/Platinum
now...anyone that likes arcade racing this is a must play and own type of
game.

Huh? I thought Morrowind was (aside from the bugs) *too* easy. Maybe
a bit too deep for the typical run & gun kiddie types, but
difficult?

You are right. Booty Bandit sung its praises since day one and I guess I
was hesitant since I hadn't played the first two. I should have listened
but I will definitely pick it up to fill these 5 days until NCAA is released
because my son is the only one who can stand Fantastic Four.

They did...
Burnout 3 came in under my radar, but a few people in here were talking
about it all the time. I was going to get it, but I knew I wouldn't
have time for it.

I actually enjoyed the demo immensly and plan on picking the title up when
it hits platinum price point (which im sure it will soon). Its a fun
gauntlet clone with pretty good graphics and fluid animation, very smooth
gameplay, easy to pick up and go for the non gamer (played the demo co-op
with my neighbor) and the attention to detail is excellent (everything is
made of recognizable lego pieces). I was also a huge lego fan when I was a
kid so the nostalgia factor prolly helps a bit, then again I'm very biased
against anything related to star wars (most .... ovverrated .... movies ....
evar!) and I *still* find the game fun.

but ill agree, what the hell is it doing on that list?, whats fable doing on
that list?, and wheres PDO?!?!?!
