gameware controller wont work

hi everyone, could anyone please help, me and my partner got her son a gaming pc for xmas and hes playing the elder scrolls but cannot get the gameware controller to work, can anyone say why please?

Prior to attempting gameplay, does Windows recognize the controller? Is the gameware controller recognized as a 'USB Human Interface Device'? Or, are there drivers that come with the remote? (What is the exact model)

Hi it's a game ware USB controller from the game shop. The drivers are recognised as when I check on the configuration settings the controller works moving them around but as soon as I restart the pc and try on skyrim or any of his other games it just doesn't work. Thanks for any help
