The Maxiums VI is overpriced, as is the Kraken (in my opinion) The 840 Pro isn't worth the extra money, and neither is the PSU. Also went with a WD Black drive, as they are much faster and much more reliable than Seagate drives.

About doing SLI he is only playing in one monitor so I don't really think there is a point to go with SLI here correct me if I am wrong but what would be the performance here with SLI in just one monitor? And regarding the PSU if I would go for SLI I would definitely go for a good PSU 860 plat or more. Lowering RAM is bad because as I said he needs to use VMWare that sucks a lot of RAM so 16 GBs is the minimum.

I put 16GB of RAM in my build. And Platinum certified is a waste of money, it'll be a LONG time until you get the savings back from your electric bill.

If he's running a single 1080p monitor then yeah, a 780 or 780 Ti by itself will be plenty. A good quality 850w 80+ Bronze is more than enough for SLI 780 Ti's.

Yeah I was referring to the previous post anyway I always wondered what is the fps difference in single 1080p monitor while doing SLI how many actual fps does it boost up never did SLI before so that is why I have this question I can't really look into it my self.

Sora have you seen my build? the builds are very similar what hitech did was lower the price of some pieces that he says that are not worth paying more for them like PSU, SDD etc. And yes he does have that money else I wouldn't say that the budget is 2000£. Anyway at the moment I made the build to go more less into the 1.6k ~ 1.7k. And ofc he can add another graphic card in the future mate that is the point of the system be perfect for now and still room for future upgrades I really don't see your point here. 😛

Asus 24" VG248QE Monitor is only 1080p, too expensive for that

get 1440p monitor or wait for gaming optimised 4k monitors

GSync is awesome, all reviews have praised it, whatever resolution it is. But, as with everything, it is up to you lol Here is a build with quality stuff under your budget including the monitor for you to look at it. Just my recommendation, do with it what you want lol
