Hello community i would like to know what you guys think about this AMD FX-6300 build that i was looking at i have been investigating a lot and dont want to make any error its going to be a great effort to buy the parts for the pc since im 17 years old im studying and working at the same time so help me out,thank you all :)

CPU - AMD FX 6300
Motherboard - ASUS M5A97 R2.0
Memory - Kingston HyperX Blu 1600
HD - Western Digital 1TB Black
Chassis - Thermaltake Urban S21 or S41
SSD - Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB SSD
GPU - R9 270X DirectCU II
PSU - Thermaltake TR2 600 Watt
CPU Cooler - Thermaltake NIC F3
ODD - DRW-24B1ST or BC-12B1ST

I must applaud you. You have made excellent choices here, maximizing your dollar. I would probably forgo the black drive as it won't really help you in gaming performance and since you already have an SSD for Windows, system performance won't be as impacted either. I agree with Wisecracker that the extra $5 is definitely worth the 50W PSU improvement.

CPU - very good, 6 cores, beat's the i5 4670 in gaming :)
Motherboard - Socket AM3+ just like your CPU supports
HDD doesnt matter
That case is prety nice, would check myself too :) *update* It's up to you, both midi tower, take the best looking one!
270x will handle all games at max at 1080p
PSU - never heard of that marker, but 600W is enough for your system just make sure not to put another graphics card in!
 


Since when does the FX 6300 outperform the i5 4670? More cores ≠ More power.
