I am looking to build a pc that is going to be used for both gaming and 3D modeling/animating. My budget is around $1300 and I was wondering what parts would be good and what kind of performance I would be looking at in this price point.

"Professional" level 3D modeling and animation, or home user hobby level 3D modeling and animation? What expectation do you have for gaming performance as far as resolution and quality settings? 1300 dollars is pretty low for a high end gaming and 3D modeling rig.

Just hobby level stuff, nothing proffesional grade. I just want something that will get the job done and good. For gaming I was hoping for either 1080p or 1440p quality gaming.
