Question gaming and pro audio recording pc

i am needing help with purchasing a pc i was looking at the dell 9020 i7 or hp elitedesk ,i have been looking at all brands i 'm stumped at the question of ddr3 or the ddr4 ram ,i was really wantin to build a pc but not to sure about ram motherboard ect. i am wanting to play battlefield 5 in my spare time from pro audio recording. i d be greatly appreciative someone helping me out.thanks
