Hi,
Yesterday, after 5 years, my monitor stopped working (asus xg32v) (backlight on, but the screen is completely black: i cannot even see the ASUS OSD/Signal message) and I can't seem to find a solution to solve the issue.
Therefore, i am considering to buy one of these 3 monitors (1440p):
Asus ROG Strix XG32VC (which i guess is a more recent version of my current monitor, Curved VA freesync pro)
rog.asus.com
Asus ROG Strix XG32AQ (flat IPS, g-sync compatible)
rog.asus.com
ROG Swift PG329Q (flat IPS, g-sync compatible)
rog.asus.com
I enjoyed my curved monitor, but i was wondering if i should go for an IPS (with gsync support) monitor this time (even if flat).
the PG329Q is double the price, but there is availability from the amazon werehouse in "very good" condition for half the price which would be cheaper than the XG32VC (even if there would be the incognita of not being fully brand new).
I have a gtx1080ti OC (waiting for the x5000 series before upgrading). i am ok with buying a 1440p dispaly rather than a 4k monitor.
what are your suggestion? which monitor offers the best specs/performance in your opinion?
