Gaming at 1440p

Hey guys, I haven't purchased a computer in 10 years and am looking to building one. I would like to be able to play next years BF at 1440p and 60+ frames.

So far I've come up with:

I5 4690
Msi Z97 gaming 9
x2 msi gtx 970s or
x1 msi gtx 980

Will this give me what I want? Any info/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Well since you can overclock a 970 to 980 levels-pretty easy.So two 970s is a lot more powerful than one 980. Alot of games nowadays also support sli. No brainer in my opinion.
