Hello and thanks for reading my thread

I'm building a new gaming pc and I've about £1100 to spend and this is what I've come up with, how's it look? I haven't built a pc in about 10 years so im learning about it all over again :)

1 x MSI Radeon R9 290X LE Lightning Edition 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (GX-273-MS)

1 x Intel Core i5-4690K 3.50GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Processor – Retail (CP-540-IN)

1 x Gigabyte Z97X-SLI Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard (MB-504-GI)

1 x Crucial MX100 256GB SATA 2.5” 7mm SSD + 9.5mm Adapter (CT256MX100SSD1) (HD-036-CR)

1 x Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-Bit DVD - OEM (WN7-00614) (SW-165-MS)

1 x Corsair Carbide 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case - Black (CC-9011030-WW) (CA-143-CS)

1 x TeamGroup Vulcan RED 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit (TLRED38G2400HC11CDC01) (MY-061-TG)

1 x SuperFlower Golden Green HX 550W "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply - Black (CA-003-SF)

1 x Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) HDD (HD-257-SE)

1 x Raijintek Themis Black Heatpipe CPU Cooler PWM - 120mm (HS-015-RT)

1 x TP-Link 450Mbps Wireless N Dual Band PCI Express Adapter (TL-WDN4800) (NW-057-TP)

1 x Samsung Ultra slim SU-208DB/BEBE 8x Slim internal DVD Writer with SATA – OEM (CD-157-SA)

I'll be looking to X-Fire in the future so I'll need to replace the PSU when I do

And just lastly, is there any word about Radeon's new line of GPUS?

The system you have found looks fine but you can get a lot more with that budget. If you are sure that you don't want to put the parts together (you'll save yourself a lot of cash by putting it together yourself:)) I'll have a look and get back. You can overclock with the system you have suggested but it's better to have dedicated CPU cooler if...
How about this? I've gone for SLI for better performance than a single Radeon card

They were both nice builds but I was wanting to go with a Radeon card

I should also mention I'll be asking a website to build the pc as opposed to putting the components together myself

Can I not overclocker with the system I have suggested? I'll only be X-Firing in the future not prob until the games I play dictate I need to upgrade, I play RTS games mainly as opposed to FPS like BF4
