Hello!
Thank you very much everyone for been part this awesome community. After days of research in the forum I think I have more or less an idea for my first build.

Approximate Purchase Date: This month

Budget Range: Maximum 1600£

System Usage: Gaming, all kind of games.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes. First I wanted a (option1) 27' 1440p 144hz but then I read a lot about G-Sync, so due my budget I thought in a (option2) 24' 1080 144hz with G-Sync.

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Location: Glorious Manchester, UK

Parts Preferences: Intel/Nvidia

Overclocking: Maybe in the future

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe in the future

I will appreciate any correction in my build and help to choose with the monitor

Solution
Some games have started to use more than 4 threads. The i7 will last you longer.

Solution
Thanks Hellfire13, definetely I'll take your advice in RAM, cooler, power supply and video card. I already have the SDD I mention in my build, I will keep it and with your modifications I think I can go for i7. I'm still obsessed with the monitor choice, maybe with the changes I can try to jump for a 27' 1440 144hz with G-Sync but not sure if really worth it

Keep the power supply you chose in the original post , it's a newer platform and is compatible with the CPU sleep states , the G2 550W is far superior.

Agreed. The seasonic is not bad but doesn't have the newer platform and its features. It was selected to keep the budget in check.

Thanks you both guys, I will keep the G2 as you said SR-71 Blackbird. I'm not able to find the MSI GTX 1070 in 306£ in amazon, I have in 368£, I will keep an eye, but in general and happy with the fact I was able to improve my build posting here and my doubts about the monitor are now clearer thanks to hellfire13, I will go for 24' 1080p with G-sync. I will check and post here the new build. Thanks

Good choice , never skimp on the heart of yours system , the build will be a BEAST.
