I've been looking at buying a new computer for gaming, i've done a bit of research on various hardware parts and came up with this list.

Mobo - P8Z68-V-Pro - $228
CPU - Intel Core i5-2500 - $209
SSD - OCZ Vertex 3 60gb Sata 3 - $139
HDD - Western Digital Cavier Black 2TB - $172
Ram - G.Skill DDR3 8gb (4gb x2) 12800/1600 - $58
GPU - EVGA GTX 570 - $379
Case - Corsair Obsidian 650d - $223
PSU - Corsair HX-850 850W - $229
Optical Drive - Pioneer DVD/CD Burner - $35

What I want to know is the price for this setup pretty decent ? I'm looking towards using the ssd with the Intels Smart Response tech for better hdd performance, and might get another gtx 570 (sli) later on down the track for better gaming performance, should the 850w psu be enough to handle all this ?

Also if anyone could suggest any better products for the same price range or cheaper, that'd be great.

Thanks.

I really dont think you need the WD Black as a storage drive, you would save a lot of cash getting a green instead since it's going to be idle most of the time anyway. If you dont want to do that then i would get a couple of Spinpoint F3 1TB's in RAID 0 since that should be way faster and cheaper. I would then use that cash to bump the i5-2500 up to a 2500k.

EDIT: Yes 850W is plenty, even after overclocking and SLI. I should say too that you could get a case that would provide better cooling for half the price of that one i think. The HAF series or an Antec for example.

Nice build. Prices listed there seem reasonable too!
+1 to all jmsellars1 comments. Spinpoint F3 1TB is awesome. 850W will do SLI gtx570s. The i5 2500K will allow you to overclock the CPU to greatly increase performance. Also I would add a CPU cooler like the Hyper 212+

That case is a hot beast! Really probably better suited for water cooling builds.

My personal favourite at the moment is the Silverstone Raven RV03:

Some Aussie sites to check prices at (incase you missed them):

http://pccasegear.com/

http://www.mwave.com.au/

http://www.scorptec.com.au/

http://msy.com.au/

The MSY website is nasty but they are usually about as cheap as it gets! Check 1st that there is one near you and then I just download the updated pdf pricelist and give them a call for stock availability, exact part info etc. Even if you can get your case and psu from them you'll reduce your shipping $ a bit.
