Hi guys, I know a lot of people post one of these, but this is my first build and I need some reassurance. I know this is massive overkill but I want to play games at 4K with all the settings maxed out. Also, will the 4-way SLI create significant problems while gaming, because I hear that a lot. I will be overclocking to the best of my ability. Also, please only mark it on performance, not performance per dollar or anything like that. I realise that my PSU wont be able to handle 4-way, but the Corsair AX1500i will be coming out in Q2. It will be liquid cooled. Thanks in advance for any input.

Lets just think about what your doing here for a moment. You want 4k, But this is not going to be a thing for 4-18 months. The new HDMI will come out, this is a port change and NOT a cable change. I would wait till then as the 870/880 GTX cards will be the first to get HDMI 2.0. But intil then, i would get this then add 3x 780ti later. You also wont need a sound card or a Wired adapter like that, its 4x gigabit lan for a sever to hub setup. this DVD drive does blueray and dvd. 4x 4tb drivers is silly, espically red series, there ment for directory servers.

For me to build it would be 5500 USD Plus Shipping, Shipped from Ohio, United States. I can build well, Do cable managment and paint fans, do setup and do some case mods if you would like or dont have time to do it yourself.

alright, but remember, HDMI 2.0 will be needed for true 4k. Again you have to wait for 880.

Keep in mind if he changed it to the UK partpicker it would probably be something like 3000 quids.

i whent from £5700 to USD. Was about 9600 USD
