Hello,

I am going to be building a new gaming PC that can also handle virtualization. I plan to get an evaluation version of windows server 2008/12 with a sample database and get Hyper-V going. Windows Server will be on a seperate partition. I will boot off of Windows 7 or 8 for gaming. This server side is just going to be practice for work. I want to just play around with it here and there. This is my current build (wanted to stay below $900) from Microcenter :

Ram: Corsair Vengence Seriers 16GB DDR3-1600 PC3-12800) $99.99

CPU: i5 3570K 3.4GHz LGA 1155 $189.99

Mobo: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Z77 ATX Intel $79.99

VGA: GeForce GTX 660 Ti Superclocked Edition 2048MB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card $309.99

Cooling: Hydro Series H60 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler $65.99

HD: Caviar Black 1TB 7,200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive $89.99

Power: COOLER MASTER Real Power Pro RS-650-ACAA-A1 650W ATX Form Factor 12V V2.3 / SSI Standard EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

= about $900 with tax

The Power supply is from my current PC and still seems to run great. I am also going to use my tower I have right now. I believe it has a side fan and a push/pull on front and back. I was just wondering how you guys think this will work out for me. This will be my first time OCing and my goal is to be somewhere from 4.5-5.0GHz.

Ok thanks! I just wanted someone else to take a look who knows a little more. I built my first PC but it was a pretty simple build. I wasnt sure on this one because of the mix or the windows server and OCing.
