gaming build on budget

Solution
4790K, yes.

-----------

Avoid the V300. It's a remarkably slow SSD when dealing with uncompressible data transfers, slower than mechanical hard drives from 5 yeas ago.

There's also a bait-n-switch controversy with that model SSD that is enough reason in itself not to buy it.

-----------

The H60 provides absolutely no cooling or noise performance benefit over a 120mm heatpipe tower, but does come with a laundry list of down-sides:
1. surface to surface seals are inherently a source of potential leaks.
2. mechanical pump adds potential failure mode.
3. no passive cooling headroom.
4. pump noise and vibration are common.
5. user-space fan noise is often greater for a given cooling performance, as the CPU cooling fan is chuffing...

I would much rather have a Noctua NH-U12S.
