Hey

This is Gamer31's most recent build that he put on the first sticky and looked most appealing to me with some of the most up to date components...

This is my first build i copy/pasted the build he wrote and found all parts on amazon(which i linked), just need to see if the links match the description and would like a review if possible and see if there is any room for improvement.

Im about ready to hit that buy button if all is right!

For the build that he posted, the 2 video cards was not an error. 4GB in SLI, the build is a high end gaming build probably focused for great graphics on a 2560x1440 display, or maybe 2-3 1080p monitors.

What's your budget? What games are you into and going to play?

Your build needs a few changes.

Ah right thanks for quick response, i havint been keeping up to date well. I plan on using a 52' hdtv with it, the games i'd want to play would be mostly everything from strategy to fps like the upcoming battlefield and titanfall.

I have a budget of 2000€ but would def like to keep it much lower if possible and yet have a beast of a machine to stay in date for few years

The reason I put 2 video cards is because I was trying to post the best build possible for under $2000. Depending on your needs you might not have to use 2 video cards. Also I'm not sure how well that CPU cooler runs so you might want to check out this thread.

Make sure you research before you buy. Also pcpartpicker says that all these parts are compatible but quote "Some Intel Z87 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Haswell Refresh CPUs."

Tried to keep everything from amazon. That NZXT case is fairly popular because it's easy to build with and has good airflow. 8GB of ram is plenty for all of your games. I thought the solid state drive with a 2TB storage drive was huge, but if you really want the 3TB, go for it. The PSU is overkill, but it will make sure you're running close to 50-60% load, and extend it's life for way more than a few years.
Are you planning on serious overclocking? Only some games really benefit from it.

This is far under your budget, but still a very high end gaming build. Also, do you need an operating system? Or mouse/keyboard/speakers, etc?

Solution
Drop down to an i5-4690k, Z97 board (i7s are still overkill, Z97 boards are new and shiny).

16 GB of RAM is entirely too much RAM at the moment unless you plan on using it for purposes other than gaming.

Don't crossfire/SLI lower high end GPUs. Just grab a 290(x) or a 780/Ti. You could crossfire/SLI those instead with that budget.

The CM PSU isn't the greatest, would suggest getting a better quality ~850W unit.

Hey thanks alot everyone will take it all into consideration i'd say ill probaly go wit t3nn1sp3p's build alright.. should work out cheaper and seems fairly legit. I'd rarely overclock anyway and with that system i would hardly need to. Have mouse and keyboard jus need to add an operating system alright so ill prob go with windows7
thanks

Do you think you would overclock at all? If you don't think you ever will, especially because the stock speeds are still great for gaming, it would save you 100€ going with non-overclock versions.

Since you're not overclocking, here's a revised build with a cpu that has a slightly faster base clock speed for almost the same price, and an updated motherboard. Again, choose whatever case you want. You can save a bit more if you go with a cheaper case, or have fun with the case and get what looks cool.

I changed the PSU too because overclocking does draw a little more wattage. This one is cheaper and still overkill for requirements.
