hello,

I'm building a new PC as I burned my MoBo and PSU. and I decided it time to go all out (well almost). I geting a gtx 970 paired with i5 4690 cpu. But I realize that my old case may get to hot as it was not designed for good air flow.

I'm sort of on a small budget after geting the parts and i need a new gaming case.
I found this one:
http://www.lc-power.com/en/product/gehaeuse/atx-gaming/gaming-930w-alliance/

Its looks really nice, and seams to have a lot of nice features like up to 7 fans ect.

anyway I newver really took any noticed of the pc cases, just bought one i like to look at.

But since this time im putting a lot of money onto a build i dont want my new components to fry.

Could you guys look at this one and let me know what you think? or drop something for around 50 bucks that would work well as well.

It cost about 60 dolars, that case.

thanks

You have the worst taste of computer cases I have ever seen....no offence 😛

If you want that edgy look, I can recommend some much higher quality cases:

no offence taken. im looking at features not looks. i need a case with good air flow at least 4 fans, psu mounted at bottom, dust protection and option to install cpu water cooling.

thus is the reason i pick up thst case, not the looks ( cause its ugly and white)

The Corsair 200R would be good for you.

It has room for a 280mm radiator at the top, 6 fan mounts, and dust filters at the front and under the PSU. It has a bottom mounted PSU, plenty of cable management room, and good aesthetics.

cheers mate.

that page was just for reference. I think I may go with the 200r as it keeps poping up on many forums as a really nice budget case.
I was looking at thermaltake as they are much cheaper then corsair or cooler master cases, not to mention fractial. And I really need to save some money as I already double my planned budget... and well my gf will kill me if she ever find out 😉

any other sugestions then corsair 200r ?

I had a long look at many different cases, and from what I can see there are plenty others which provide samer or even better features for the lower or same price as corsair.

like antec, zalman, cooler master and of course LC power.

After reading a bit more, Im still looking for advice on this.

What Im looking for should meet these criteria:
roomie ( so I can fit my gtx 970 (30cm)),
comes with at least 3 fans with space for 2 more, or 2 fans with space for 4 more (as they come in 120 or 140 versions so it depends on number of fan slots).
have rubber feet to lift if from the ground
have dust filters
bottom placed psu mount
have rubbers placed on hdd mounts, under psu, under MB (to prevent vibration)
option for mounting water cooling on CPU
atx standard
good cable management

If anyone got some ideas please drop them for me :)

thanks

yes you are right. I took my sweet time to look though many cases, read reviews and in the end i didnt go with corsair 200r, instead the choice was between corsair spec-03 and coolermaster n400 and I gone with the latter one due to it great airflow and features.

Anyway thanks for the tips, and advices provided, good I wasnt hot headed and gone for my first pick 😉
