Gaming computer £2000 budget

Hello I am a novice at computers and I was wondering if someone could help me build a gaming computer within a 2000 pound budget.

I want to play games such as Star citizen which will require 8Gb of ram minimum so I need to build a high end computer.

thank you for this wonderful build but after reading some reviews for the case it seems it's not suited for water cooling. What should I do?

-Better gpu.
-Windows 8.1 is more optimized.
-Better cpu cooler.
-Z87 chipset board for overclocking.
-2x8gb of ram to leave some extra slots open.
-More reliable HDD, IMHO.
-Better quality psu.

The Tesla's are decent, but XFX is one of the best quality psus on the market and better than the Tesla. And 1000w is overkill.

Sir, it sounds like you are a man who knows quality and doesnt mind paying for it. Whilst spending that sort of 'wonga' you can leverage the best to assist.
These people built John Lewis's computers and won best retailer of the year two years running, and have been in the game for donkeys.

What are you talking about when you say "better PSU?" The Fractal Design PSU is much better and a higher wattage.

Everything else, I agree on.

thank you for that website I once brought a pre-built computer from the alien ware website it cost me £2000+

and as soon as I set it up it started causing problems in less than a day the hard drive failed after waiting 2 months I finally got it replaced after ALOT of calls to support. then after a week the graphics card died I'm still waiting for a replacement but I decided to give up on that piece of junk as it's nothing but a money pit,

I decided to build my own computer as that way I can buy quality parts and install them myself.

I'm still looking for a good build that meets my needs.

Buy building your own computer, you learn how to troubleshoot problems instead of having to go through shitty customer service for days before sending it in. Clearly you didn't even bother reading the thread because if you did, you would know that the OP wants to build his own computer.
And I see nothing wrong with the £559 EVGA gpu. EVGA creates some of the best NVIDIA gpus. If you think that they are bad, then you clearly don't know what you're talking about.
