Hi there, I'm planning to make a Gaming PC. Probably some machine that can run Witcher III.

I have decided these components:

Processor: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHZ
GPU: Gigabyte Aorus RX 570 4G Gaming
Memory: 350GB SSD (will increase later)
RAM: 12-16GB (Any specific model or brand help?)

My only main problem is I can't decide a motherboard, case and Power Supply/Cooling system...

Can you help me pick out the remaining right components? Thanks.


Update: I am thinking to use Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H170-Gaming 3 -OR- Gigabyte Z170-HD3.

So, I wouldn't recommend getting a 4xxx series chip. They're good chips, don't get me wrong, but the platform is dying since DDR4 ram came out. It sort of depends on your budget, but if you can get 6xxx or 7xxx series, with 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a B350 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WVFFXXL/?tag=pcpapi-20) motherboard, you'll be much better off for the future.

So what budget are you working with?

Okay B350 as a motherboard seems good.

Okay As per your opinion I have changed my Processor to: Core i5 6500 3.2GHZ
RAM: 8GB DDR4
GPU: Gigabyte Rx 570 4G Gaming


Now for Motherboar just help me pick one suitable from these 3:

B350 MSI
Gigabyte GA-H170-Gaming 3
Gigabyte Z170-HD3.

Both of those companies are reputable. So no problems there.

Personally, I'd go for the B350 Tomahawk. Cheap and decent reviews.

1 - B350 will not work with an intel CPU, it's for a Ryzen build.
2 - H170 will work
3 - Since you are not selecting an overclockable CPU why waste money on an overclocking Z series motherboard.

Take a look at B250 motherboards as an option.

Ram: Kingston DDR3 8GB-1600
Memory: 2TB SATA HDD
Motherboard: Gigabyte H-170-HD3 Gaming 3

Any suggestions on the Power Supply/Cooling?
