Gaming Computer (AMD) Yes or No?

Bit slow in responding but pretty much what the posters above are talking about
The 8350 is fine for gaming as long as your game is not stupidly single or dual threaded
Gigabyte motherboards have the best power delivery that I know of so I went with them

^ I second the opinion of sticking with windows 7
with an SSD you won't get any noticeable performance boosts with windows 8

Yep thats good :)
for a monitor this would be a similar priced one but with an IPS panel (better image quality) and LED back light (better contrast and power savings). You can get a ASUS 23inch one but that will cost about $30 more than the LG one and AFAIK LG makes the IPS panels for most brands

Case is more of a personal preference thing but there are cheap cases out there but you may or may not like the look

I personally like the 7950 from gigabyte since it has 3 fans and is clocked higher than the other cards
