Gaming computer budget

I was thinking of buying a computer, but i'm not sure if it would be better to build one? if i was too build one, this means i can just customize it with the things i want. i would like to be able to play games such as Day Z, Star wars the old republic, World of Warcraft etc. i need advice on whether to build or buy one. My budget would be around the £300-£500 mark

Building one is always cheaper, unless you get a used system.

For a gaming system you want to go to the top of your budget, anything lower will have too many compromises like needing to run at low resolutions and low game settings.

A good gaming PC that can run current games on high is going to cost at least $1000 for everything.
