I plan on building my first PC for the use of gaming. That would be the primary use of the PC. I messed around on PCPartPicker.com and made this build. I'm on a budget of around $400. This is a little over my budget, and I was wondering two things. One, how could the build be improved? And two, is there any way the price could be slimmed?

I don't have a monitor on this build, which would increase the price, but what is a good monitor for gaming that isn't too expensive?

Thanks in advance, I've never built a PC before and my current setup is a pre-built laptop for gaming!

First off you don't need a sound card onboard will work fine, also finding a cheaper case will help save you money I can recommend a few if you want. Heres the build I built for you: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/cgTDNG it costs $400 but. if you find a cheaper case you could save some money. also its way more powerful than your system you'll be able to medium\high settings.
