OK so this is what i am thinking for roughly $1000 AUD.

i just want an opinion on the motherboard.

How good is the MSI H110M Gaming Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard?

Would there be anything for a similar price that would be a better option for me?

Thanks

Solution
yeah 250gb hdd would be the best option
And no 380x isnt much compared to the 380 stick with the 380 ...
U can get a cheap board like for 80 and make it 16gb cuz most modern games does take all 8gb so better to have a bit more

Why would you go the R9 380X sapphire nitro gpu?

would i get better performance out of a ASRock H170 Pro4 Motherboard?

They would perform the same, MSI has cooler design and software utilities so I would buy MSI rather than asrock tbh :)

or Gigabyte GA-H170-D3HP but I believe it's much more expensier

R9 380x gives you more speed around 12-20fps more, and sapphire nitro because it's the fastest and coolest brand. If you can get R9 390 for the same price as R9 380x go for it :)
