That ram is way too fast for your motherboard. It would work, but you would be wasting money as that board only supports up to 1333mhz which is why I said you should get a different motherboard. Realistically you probably won't need anything higher than 1600mhz on the memory, but the board needs to be compatible or you won't get those speeds.
You could also just get 1333mhz memory, but the cost is usually about the same as 1600mhz and Intel boards aren't really that great anyway.
Now I have a question, why are you getting a 2500k if you want to buy a motherboard that can't overclock? the k series are for overclockers, you could save some money getting a non k version if you have no intention to ever overclock. If you want to overclock you need a 2500k plus a P67 board, that Intel board is H67 which will not overclock that chip.
