I have a gaming computer -- really can't tell the make and model-- that just stopped powering on. It doesn't
make any noise abd no lights come on at all.

It was working yesterday and the only thing I did was move it. No lightening struck it but it's acting totally dead
as if it was.

Are you familiar enough with the connectors from your power supply and PC builds in general enough to take the power supply loose and test it?

If you are adept with a meter pinout can easily be checked for the basics. There are a ton of really inexpensive "testers" on the market that will at least tell you if the rails are putting out the power expected. The cheap versions of these don't actually put a load on the PSU, so in that respect one of the best options I have seen is to use automotive headlights...anyway, whole other subject.

How old is the PC and have you been keeping it free of dust?

I put a multimeter to the AC plug that goes to the motherboard and it registered voltage...I'm hoping it's just the switch and not the motherboard that's bad...I tried to also disconnect the AC plug that goes from the outside of the power supply and plugging an AC cord from the wall to that directly and using the switch to power it on and that didn't do anything...no major dust...no blown caps as far as I can see on the motherboard... the motherboard is a MPZ6901 Edge motherboard and the closest thing I could find online to a manual was this: https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/mb/MPGZ690EDGEWIFIDDR4.pdf ...I would like to be able to buy either the switch and swap it out ....or get a barebones gaming case compatible with this type of motherboard (including the switch)....and put in the existing motherboard into it and fix it that way...so can any body give me a link to either the switch OR a case?
