Gaming Computer for Diablo 3 Budget: 750$

Iam looking for a Gaming computer that can play Diablo 3 smoothly with a budget of only around 750$ give 100$ take a 100$ (so 650$-850$ is the option)

*Sorry Iam from Canada, my monitor resolution is 1280x1024, no overclocking and no sli or crossfire.

You may not know it but AMD benches pretty well with the current release of Piledriver. Improvements upon Bulldozer are clear, at least 10-15% in most cases. The FX-6300 will be all you need for graphically intensive games, and be decent in games like Diablo. I say this because in Graphically intensive games, GPU is more important in games honestly and with my build you'll save money and be able to put more power in the GPU.

Diablo 3 isn't very demanding, so something like a sandy/ivybridge pentium (or i3 if you want) will be more than enough CPU power, and a 6870 or similar will do max settings on Diablo 3 with 2xAA+FXAA at 1080p.

You could build a $500 system that can play Diablo 3 pretty easy. If you have more information about the system you want (monitor resolution, other games, if you will be working or video editing, ect.) we could help make a more well rounded build to suit your needs.

^+1 on bigcyco1's build. that should give you some decent performance on games far demanding than Diablo 3. if you're willing to spend up to $850, there's the 7950, otherwise, it's all good.

^ Why though? Why does he need to spend $100 more than the AMD FX-6300 I have when he'll just be getting a better CPU. Especially since this build is for Diablo 3... The GPU would be more important than the CPU. The FX-6300 is more than capable of running daily apps decent if not smoother than the i5 3470, it slacks a little in gaming but benchmarks in games like BF3 and Metro 2033, most demanding graphical games or even non-demanding ones, at 1080P will eat your GPU more than your CPU, if at all.

Im canadian so ill have to buy from a store within canada. i think not sure if they sell across the states.. i could get 2x4GB G.Skill Ares on sale at Newegg for 39$ CAS-9 1.5V 9-9-10. The SSD is a great idea 64GB will probably be great for my needs, im not the type of person to have a bunch of *** games on my SSD i like my *** clean and organized very anal.. saves me some money going for the smaller 64GB SSD along with a 500GB HDD. the 7850 is nice, does the 660GTX outperform it inturn outlasting it with the new market of games in the future? might just buy a GTX 670.

-How well does the asrock perform i like asus a bit more.. and they are top of the line mobo producers so.. sure the asrock can stand up against it.?

well g.skill ares are good too , the 7870 are head to head with gtx 660 non ti sometimes gtx 660 beats the 7870 like in bf3 , fitting the gtx 670 into your budget will be like fitting an elephant into VW Beatles car.

well yes we cannot see into the future , but for sure it can play any game in next year on ultra and maybe 2 years unless games developers goes mad with new engines.
